Friday 16 September, meeting point 10.00am at the Longman Car park. Directions: from Eastbourne travel along the A27 road towards Lewes and Brighton. 2 miles from the junction A27 - A2270 turn left along The Street Wilmington, also sign posted to Litlington and the Longman. Travel 1½ miles and the car park (a piece of rough ground) is on the right side opposite a gate which leads up the hill. Sat-Nav co-ordinates N50 48.510 E000 10.379. Saturday and Sunday’s meeting point to be advised but will be at 09.00am.

Note: If we have to use Butts Lane, there is a parking fee of £3 per day. So please be prepared!

The Competition

For Friday and Saturday the last round in progress will be at 5.00pm. Note: This may change because of weather conditions. Sunday the last round in progress will be 2.30pm. The Competition Director will only use group scoring if conditions dictate.

The turn bases will be set back as far as possible this will allow the safety line to go back as far as possible. The turn points will be marked in the normal forward position by an additional marker. Pilots will be expected to take their turn at turn base buzzer duty.

The flying order will be published but the first pilot to fly will be determined by a draw. The order will rotated forward by 10 places each day.
