By special permission of the tenant. Fly at the summit
only. Do not use the bowl

a longer route from Glynde. We suggest your first visit be in the company of
an established member. |

FIRLE
N, NW |
Reached by road from A27. Due to its easy access it tends
to attract large numbers
at times, some not very disciplined. ESSA
members tend to use sites 4 or 5. |

BO PEEP
N, NE |
Reached by road from A27.
Not quite as popular as 2, however it is popular with the
Hang-Glider fraternity,
so be careful. |

LONG MAN
W, SW, N, NW, (S) |
Reached by track from road leading off A27 at Wilmington. Easily
our
most used site due to prevailing wind direction. Available
to BMFA members only, an annual fee is paid by the SE Area
of the
BMFA, to which we contribute. Flying is restricted to areas adjacent to the
Bridleways.
Under NO CIRCMSTANCES should you use the NE slopes which
over-look Folkington.

which begins at
the Butchers Shop. Please
be very careful when over-flying footpaths. Take advice on
landing areas
from established members.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES fly from the West slope to the rear of the main
East slope. DO NOT fly anywhere near the car park area.

BEACHY HEAD

Adjacent to the road from Eastbourne to Birling Gap. Also
very popular
with Hang-Gliders. Very
restricted landing area. As
a Club we do not recommend use of this site during the summer month due
to its very crowded state.
